The clock now reads 12:16pm meaning that the second year has passed and we are now into the third year of life without my father, Dennis Waynick. I'm still not so sure how to feel about his death. I'm sad but why all of a sudden does this one day make me feel just sad enough to shed some tears? It's not like it's forgotten about the other 364 days of the year.
September 19th 1957. My father was born on a naval base in Newport, Rhode Island. Now for 20 years of my life I have been told many stories about his life from everyone who knew him. The most important one to me is the fact that when he was in high school he noticed this tall, thin, beautiful girl while in choir class, my mother. They were 2 different conflicting personalities, he was more of the bad boy rebel type, while she was the straight A student/innocent girl type. They fell in love and ended up getting married and having 4 children. It was his favorite story to tell.
He worked the afternoon shift all but 2 weeks the whole time I knew him. I remember crying when I was a kid if he couldn't come to some of my baseball games. I just didn't understand why my dad had to go to work at a different time than everyone else. When I was around 9 I got into hockey big time. On Saturday nights I started to stay up late and so when he came home we could hang out and watch the late game on CBC's Hockey Night In Canada. From then on I got hooked on the weirdest sleeping schedule so we could hang out. When I got older and began hanging out with friends and it kind of took away the time we had to hang out. I feel bad about that now but when I would come home at night he was always hanging out in the basement and we would still get to talk for a little bit, usually about sports or current events, before i'd go to bed.
It's been weird to adjust to living without my best friend more than it has been to live without my father. My dad was always awake while my family and I were sleeping. We always had the luxery of him always being there to protect us. Ever since he left sleeping has not been comforting to anyone in my house. I went through major paranoia last year where I was always afraid someone was going to break into my house or that someone was threatening to harm my family. It still affects me but it is not as bad as it was.
Lately I have been praised for being who I am. Emily wrote a paper in school about how i'm a hero, Jack gave made me a fathers day card in school, many of my friends have spoken about how I have been doing a good job... why am I being praised though? Do you get praised everytime you blink your eyes, breathe in air, or even take a piss? No, because those are things you are suppose to do right? I never really felt that I was being any kind of a hero or anything, in fact there have been many times where I felt like shit because I didn't think I was doing enough to help. I am, however, very thankful for all the kind words that have been spoken about me.
So what exactly am I to my family now? I havn't been able to answer that question in a while so maybee you can help me. Sure i'm always going to be a son to my mother, and to Emily and probably Abby I will always be the brother, but to Jack what am I? What does he view me as? What should I view him as? Am I his brother or am I something like a Stepfather to him? These questions and more are what I think about everyday. Life to me is 4 shoes with only 2 feet. A pair of my shoes, a pair of my fathers shoes, and my feet. Now which shoes am I suppose to fill?
The clock now reads 2:16pm and the sadness, unlike the life, will never come to an end.

Game 4 The Big Roosters (0-6) 5 vs PASI 2 15 Although still winless after a few losses the past week, The Big Roosters may be finally getting the feal of things and have been playing much better. Last Wednesday against PASI 2, The Cocks suffered a 15-5 loss in which they were able to take an earlier 3 run lead as Ryan Sawyer and Jeremy Quiroga knocked in a couple runs. The Cocks fell behind by giving up 4 runs in the bottom half off the quick bats of PASI 2, but after a Quiroga double in third to bring in 2 runs The Cocks once again went ahead. They would end up losing by a final of 15-5 in a game that slipped away from them in the late innings. ( Players of the game )Game 5 The Big Roosters (0-6) 6 vs O'Conners Bombers 16 Monday night went a little better for The Cocks despite losing yet again. Brian Yoder made his first start as pitcher replacing Dave Wrona who moved to left center and Bryan Danson made a cameo start in left field. The Cocks were able to hang around and battle it out for most of the game but eventually would surrender one too many runs in a 16-6 loss. Both Jon Drumm and Chris Payne did not play due to non-injury related reasons. ( Players of the game )Game 6 The Big Roosters (0-5) 4 vs Kramer Truck 18 Last night The Big Roosters played Kramer Truck in a game attended by season high 00,019 fans for the third straight game. Both teams were able to get runners in scoring position in the first inning but good defense prevented either team from scoring. Kramer Truck eventually took a 1-0 lead in the second that lasted until Brian Yoder was able to knock in the tying run with his first hit of the season. Mike Sharkey would get the go-ahead run a few at bats later when he was able to bring in Dan Sharkey from second. With The Big Roosters up by a run, Kramer Truck would tie the game up once again on a monsterous home run that hit the left field lights. Kramer Truck went on to take the lead, a lead in which they would improve upon and hold onto for the rest of the game despite the efforts of The Cocks. ( Players of the game ) Even with a 0-6 record, The Big Roosters have shown some signs of becoming a competitive team towards the stretch. Jeremy Quiroga thus-far has been clutch with runners in scoring position with his team leading 6 RBI's. Ryan Sawyer currently is batting .800 leads the team in 5 other categories as well including hits (8), singles (6), doubles (2), on-base percentage (.800), and slugging percentage (1.000). Newcomer Brad Delinski has been nothing short of spectacular at third base and with the moving of Mike Sharkey to second base along with Rob Waynick at shortstop, The Cocks arguably have one of the best infields in the leauge. The outfield and batting order has seen many changes this season, but The Cocks will eventually work out all the kinks and hopefully win some games here and there. The Big Roosters are off until Monday night where they will play Aspen Construction at 6pm on Quandt Field #2. So come out and support The Big Roosters on Monday night, or if you would like to attend any other game this season take a look at the schedule. Thanks to all the fans who have continued to show their love of The Cocks. Recumbent and...: relaxed

The Big Roosters (0-3) 5 vs NinePlusOne (1-2) 19 Without any promotional giveaways a record breaking attendance of 00,013 unexpectedly showed up for The Big Roosters Division B debut Monday night. The Cocks, although energized by the crowd, failed to bring their game in the first inning as NinePlusOne went 4 more runs beyond their moniker in an inning full of fielding errors. The bats of The Big Roosters had a late start in the bottom half but after a 2 out walk to Rob Waynick (SS) Chris Payne (2B) hit a single to center which advanced Waynick to third. The Cocks failed to score in the inning however but took to the field ready to fight back. The Cocks, after playing a much tighter defense in the second inning, gave up 3 more runs as NinePlusOne took advantage of the gaps between the infielders and outfielders. In the bottom half The Cocks started off with 2 quick outs yet again. Jon Drumm then came up to bat and hit a single on which he eventually made his way home after Dan Sharkey advanced him to third, and Ryan Sawyer, with his first at bat of the season, sent him home to give the Cocks their first run. After getting 2 quick outs from the first 2 hitters The Cocks failed at several attempts to get the final out as NinePlusOne tallied up another 2 runs to further their lead by 18. In a desperate attempt to avoid being mercied for the third game in a row The Cocks had their best at bat of the season thus far scoring 4 runs and included some huge at bats from Jon Drumm, Dan Sharkey, and once again, Ryan Sawyer who got his second RBI of the night off a monsterous double to right which once again brought in Jon Drumm. The Cocks needed to score 3 more runs after the flip-flop rule to avoid the mercy but failed to do so after a scoreless 4th inning. Once again the Cocks walked away as the losing team in a game where they knew they should have won. The Big Roosters will try again Wednesday at 8:00pm against P.A.S.I. 2. The Big Roosters (0-2) 3 vs Log's Dogs (2-0) 30 or so
The explosive bats of Log's Dogs proved to be more than what The Big Roosters could handle last night in a 30-3 loss in which they beat The Cocks . Unlike Monday night, the weather on Wednesday was more fitting for softball as The Cocks made their first road trip of the season. Due to the absences of Jon Drumm, Dan Sharkey, and Andy Lowry, Manager Rob Waynick called up Mike Pierfielice (1B) and Brian Delinski (CF) from the minors work to fill the empty spaces around the diamond.
The Cocks got off to a good start as Matt Ferante (C) scored from second on a single from Mike Pierfielice for the first run, RBI, and lead of the season. The lead would not last long as Rob Waynick made his pitching debut allowing 14 runs in just one inning on the mound for an ERA of...well you can do that math yourself (runs allowed x maximum innings possible) /total innings pitched.
Following a 1,2,3 at bat a few defensive adjustments were made including a pitching change which brought Dave Wrona in from the bullpen. Log's Dogs knocked in 14 15 16 runs...we think (to be honest we lost track) and somehow managed to get 3 outs to end the inning. The third inning would be the last due to the mercy rule but provided some excitment. After Mike Sharkey led off with a line out to short, Matt Ferante got on base with his second single of the night. Rob Waynick then hit a double to left center which advanced Ferante to third followed by Brad Delinski who knocked in both runners on a single to short.
League officials discussed the divisional placements and decided to move The Big Roosters down a divison where former college baseball players, proffesional beer leaguers, and guys who spend the money equivelent to half a months mortgage payment on a softball bat designed by NASA scientists are nowhere to be found. The Cocks are happy about the move and look forward to playing in a league where they can compete in. A new schedule will be released shortly and The Big Roosters will hopefully compete for the top spot in the league.

All In (1-0) 14 vs The Big Roosters (0-1) 0
The Big Roosters kicked off their inagural season Monday night in a 14-0 loss to All In. Despite the near freezing temperatures a near sell out crowd of 00,003 braved the cold and cheered on The Cocks .
The Cocks started out the game a player short as Andy Lowry (LCF) sat out the first inning due to problems with both his left and right turns and eventually found his way to the field. Chris Piechocki (RCF), who was signed earlier in the day to a $000,000 one year contract, got the start at centerfield.
After allowing 2 runs in the top half of the first The Cocks Mike Sharkey (LF) led off with a single for the first hit in team history. After Jon Drumm (3B) got on base from a ground ball fielder's choice to second in which All In got a sliding Sharkey out, Rob Waynick (SS) hit into a double play to end the inning.
The second inning went a little better for The Cocks as All In went hitless in the top half due to the stellar defense played by Chris Payne (2B). Dave Wrona (P), who recorded a season high 2 strikeouts in the game, started off the bottom half of the second with a hot shot single down the third base line. The inning ended without any runs but a few decent at bats from Dan Sharkey (1B), Chris Payne (2B), Jeremy Quiroga (CF), and Matt Ferante (C) gave The Cocks some confidence as they took to the field to begin the third inning.
It was there where All In took control of the game scoring 7 runs in what seemed to be a never ending inning where Mike Sharkey (LF) was the only Cock to touch base on his second single of the night. In the 4th inning All In picked up right where they left off in the previous inning scoring 5 more runs for a 14 run lead in an inning that featured a spectaclar bobbling catch made by Mike Sharkey (LF). With the flip-flop rule in effect after the The Cock's at 4th at bat they were given the top half of the 5th to try and pull a near impossible come from behind victory. Matt Ferrante (C) ended the game on a well hit ball to the left field which was caught for the final out.
The Big Roosters first game was called by the umps due to the mercy rule. Although defeated The Cocks remained in good spirits after the game realizing that there is still another 21 games left on the schedule and that this was their first game in a league where some say that All In may just be the team to beat. The Big Roosters play Wednesday against Log's Dogs at Quandt Field diamond 2.

So I had passed by the Voran funeral home last night around 10 and glimpsed over at the sign as I often do and it read "Evelyn Waynick." I kind of shook my head and then looked again. That time it said "Evelyn Waynick." What!!!! So who is "Evelyn Waynick" you ask? Well i don't really know how to say this but, um, I don't know who she is. Just some lady who shared the same last name as me I guess. Whoever's family she was a part of I do feel bad for them. It's just that was kind of creepy because I have never seen my last name on display like that before. Recumbent and...: weird Music...: ...

Well it is the holidays and I know a few people who are having a rough time this year. I thought I would make a list of my friends and reasons why I admire/love them, to try and boost their spirits. In no specific order... Payne - You're one of my fuckin Bro's from another Ho (no disrespect to your mother). You're gonna be making the big money when you get out of school man because you work harder than any other blue collar in this world. I really admire that. I can't wait until you get on brek because you havn't been over my house the past 2 weekends. Jon Drumm - One of my other Bro's from another Ho (again, no disrespect to your mother). We got a lot in common (other than our good looks) and you actually get most of my jokes. You know a lot of crazy cool useless facts and that is always bad ass. You're a great guy to everyone and I appreciate the fact that you care. One day we will sing a duet of "all out of love" by Air supply. Erin (Pretty Erin) - You are the only one who I can actually talk to on the phone for over an hour straight. You are really smart, too smart almost. You tend to get most of my dumb little jokes as well. I appreciate you always being there. You're pretty and I love your voice it is fucking sexy hehe. I could say so much more but sometimes "words are very unnescesary" ...so I will just use letters. I.W.G.O.W.Y.A.B.W.Y.F. (this time I won't tell you what it means you will have to figure it out.) Megan - You are my favorite music major. You made softball look pretty. You always give me hugs when I need them, thank you. Don't forget our date on my birthday. Mal - I would not spend nearly 2 years around someone who I did not love. You were right next to me everyday comforting me during my worst days, as well as some of the best days. I am glad we can have a good friendship and I cherrish that very much. Emily (Paco) - *Hug* love you, everything will be ok. You're goofy, pretty, and have a sick sense of humour...we are so alike. Al (Alium) - If you are not big in the music business I will honestly believe that there is no God. You are fucking a musical genious man. When we die I totally wanna form a band with you, Lennon, Harrison, and Ringo (hey lets face it Paul McCartney will live forever because he isn't real) Sawyer - You got me through some hard times a few years ago and you probably did not even know you were helping me. Apollo Ono 2006. Jeremy - You were like one of my first friends in this town. I remember crying as a kid when got moved up in grades and I never really cried much. Even though we really have not been around each other much since then I still look up to. Blev - I never got the impression you liked me much but I think you are a hilarious person and I would definatley nominate you for the best away messages, they just always make me laugh. Dena (Girlfriend) - If I had to choose one word and one word only I would choose..."Cute." That probably sounds weird but for some reason in my dictionary cute=Dena. You're always fun to be around and make me smile. Amy - You gave me an e-hug last night and that really meant a lot. You have done that a few other times too and I thank you for that. I hope to meet you when you visit Dena. Jackie - You are not human. Seriously you are good at everything. I'm so glad to be friends with you and wish I could have known you better in high school. I look up to more than any other girl I know and have done so for many years. Thanks for the hugs and everything else you do. Lesley - I hope to see more of you in the near future. Maybe get together sometime and make some sweet, sweet...music. Andy (Mini-Moo) - I'm not sure you read this but man those were some fun years. I really miss those times. You're a damn cool guy in my book. Kulik - We gotta make some more music together man. You give me adivce about my music and that helps out a lot. I feel like I should say something about how I wanted to get with your sister once, but I won't, haha. P - Dude I do not understand why you do not have a lot of ladies man. Seriously if I were gay I would be all up on you. You are usually quiet but you make some hilarious wise cracks when you talk. Angela (Best Friend) - You are so fun to be around. I love joking around with you and trying to make you mad. You also care when I am not having a good day and offer me the chance to talk about it, that really means a lot to me. Holly - You're a girl who loves hockey (that is a big plus in my book) If there is ever a hockey season again i'm gonna get tickets for a game and I will invite you. Seriously we must talk more sometime. Nicole Mcfarland - I loved hanging around you back in the 70's, well the 2002's and 2003's. You are one of the best people to be around and have fun with. You also have a sexy voice, remember that tiime we told you that lol. Sarah Adamczyk - You're nice to me and you seem to keep me occupied when I am at work. Thanks. ...I do appreciate many more people who are unlisted but I tried to only put the ones who read this. I apologize for leaving anyone out. ATTENTION: I'm tired of seeing the following in either away messages, profiles, or anywhere else. "i'm thinking its a sign, that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images, and when we kiss they are perfectly aligned."
It's not that I do not like it, It is a good song and a good band and I have had the cd for a while. It's just that I have been seeing it all over and it is driving me crazy.
So you ask how recording went last night? Well not so good. Oh well sometimes you win sometimes you lose right? I did however took some time out of working on my own stuff to learn "The way you look tonight" by Frank Sinatra. I changed the song around a little in the melody due to the fact that I do not have "The Signature Voice" or a VISA...
They interviewed Steve Yzerman last night on Stoney and Wojo as I was coming home from work. It is always great to hear him in an interview. Apparantly meetings will take place soon between the NHLPA and the NHL. I'm going against my usual "optimistic" approach to this one because I feel like an NHL season at this point is a lost cause. I will be more than happy to be wrong though...
Jack won third place in this years PTA Reflections program. The theme, Heroes. His medium of art, Drawings. His drawings, A Fireman, ME... Go ahead and jot that down on the list of "Greatests Moments In My Life." I have the drawing that he did and will frame it soon and put it on my wall.
...Oh and don't forget, 24 days until the 20th anniversary of my birth.
...And if you plan on getting me a hooker I would really like an Asian one this time. Thank you and good day/night/morning.

Sorry for the lack of non-down-dates. I have been busy making music, websites, babies, documentaries on how to make babies while working on websites and playing the guitar... I hope you are not mad at me. If you are I aplologize and let us move out Neutral and into Drive with our friendships.
Other than that there has not been anything else really going on other than the usual wake up, go to work, drive home during rush hour in construction zones, cussing to 327695827 different dumb ass drivers, come home, eat dinner, go to room and hang with Jack, try to annoy Emily, talk online, work on music, take an elongated nap.
Speaking of my website it is RobAlMusic.com and is the website of all your favorite RobAl artists including Rob Waynick, Al Zolynsky and his Sweet Grooves, Mimes, RobAl, and others. If you would like your stuff posted on that site let me know because I have 10 gigs of webspace and I will design your site for free. All of my news regarding my music will be posted on my section of the website. So that means check it Bi-Hourly. As of right now the only music posted on the site is RobAl songs which were all pretty much improvised but are entertaining nonetheless and if you have time check out the music video for "Goob on the tube" (Warning 25% 50% 65% of scenes may contain hot sex).
A reminder to all you faithful Rob Waynick fans out there my birthday is coming up in 37 days ( Day after christmas/December 26th). Rumour has it there will be big news regarding a hotel party/get-together/orgy? So stay tuned for that.
In other news it has recently been brought to my attention that I am being an "( ass )

Friday night Al and I worked on a little video for one of our songs. It's pretty funny once its finished I will let you view it if you ask nicely. What a great day. I woke up around noon and did some recording that I am actually happy with so I decided to keep it. My mom kinda overheard it and she liked the song very much. Which made me real happy because my mom doesn't really hear anything of mine. Afterwards Jack and I headed to downtown D-Town and we checked out the Eastern vs. Central game at Ford Field. I had so much fun sitting there at the game with just my best bud. It's so weird how everything between us is like the same way it was with my dad and me. Jack has been starting to ask alot of questions about his dad lately... After about 5 hours, 4 overtimes, and a 61-58 finish with EMU coming out on top we headed back to the car and headed home. Yup we sat there the whole time and Jack loved it never complaining about being there because he was having a whole lot of fun. One thing that I was amazed by was the fact that he never asked me to buy him any souveniers or anything other than popcorn and a pop. It was so weird how well behaved he was. So when I came home I had intentions of editing my song I recorded earlier but I got distracted by the many friends who instant messaged me. I ended up talking to 9 different people at once it was really crazy. Then Payne came by and we chilled around here and went out at about 2 and had some spotlight fun while picking up food and listening to christmas music on the radio. It was a hoot nanny and a hollerin. Never got to work on my song though. Now as I sit here listening to christmas music in my room about to go to bed i'm thinking about how this christmas is going to be as sad as last years. Damn. I was really hoping it be easier. I feel that a good cry is in the near future. ok, Bye. Recumbent and...: thoughtful Music...: Nat King Cole - Chestnuts roasting on an open fire (best christmas song ever)
